ALL-CITY CHAMPIONSHIPS...
CLEVELAND, OH (February 16, 2007) - Case Western Reserve University sophomore Derrick Moore (Cleveland, OH) had a couple nice races to lead the Spartans at the 2007 All-City Championships hosted by Baldwin Wallace College.
Moore won the 400-meter dash (51.98) and placed second in the high jump (1.83 meters). Senior Stephen Hrinda (Fairview, PA) won the 5,000-meter run (15:04.96) and junior Tyler Youngquist (Midland, MI) and sophomore Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH) finished second (4:29.75) and third (4:31.53), respectively, in the one-mile run.
The Spartans also took second through fifth place in the weight throw led by senior Paul Hannen's (Seville, OH-pictured) second place throw of 14.32 meters.
Case will compete in the Oberlin College Invitational on February 23.
