CLEVELAND, OH (February 10, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s indoor track and field team finished sixth out of six teams late last night at the Oberlin College Invitational. The Spartans finished with 33 points and Thiel College won the invite with a score of 160.
Junior Zachary Polk (Marion, OH) placed second in the pole vault (1.83m), sophomore Josh Ward (Boise, ID) finished third in the one-mile run (4:51.25) and senior Chris Anderson (Centerville, VA) took third in the 400-meter dash (53.62) to lead Case.
The Spartans travel to Otterbein College this afternoon for the 2007 All-Ohio Championships.
