2006 GREATER CLEVELAND COLLEGE MEET...
BEREA, OH (February 18, 2006) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s track team finished their sixth meet of the winter late last night at Baldwin Wallace College. The Spartans finished third out of eight teams with 109 points at the 2006 Greater Cleveland College Meet. Host Baldwin Wallace won the title with a score of 239.
Individually, senior Stephen Hrinda-pictured (Fairview, PA) placed first in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:21.15. Junior Axel Riemer (Ogdensburg, WI) also brought home first place honors in the 300 meter dash with a time of 36.82 and junior Alex Drollinger (Lodi, OH) placed second in two throwing events (shot put: 14.50 meters & weight throw 14.69 meters).
Team wise, the men’s distance medley team placed first with a time of 11:17.46.
