UAA CHAMPIONSHIPS ...
NEW YORK, NY (February 26, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University men's Indoor Track & Field team took part in the 2005 University Athletic Association Indoor Track & Field Championships yesterday and today at the Armory in downtown New York City .
The Spartans finished seventh out of seven teams with a score of 12. Washington University won the men's title with 159 points.
Case sophomore Trevor Isle (Orono, MI) placed fourth in the 55 meter hurdles (8.13), sophomore Axel Riemer (Waupaca, WI) placed fifth in the 200 meter dash (23.71), and freshman David Jeffries (Nordania, OH) finished fifth in the shot put (13.17 meters) to lead the Spartans.
