OBERLIN, OH (February 11, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve University men's indoor track and field team traveled across town tonight to participate in the Oberlin College Invitational. The Spartans recorded five first place finishes, including one relay.
Sophomore Trevor Isle (Orono, MI) won the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 8.18, sophomore Alex Drollinger (Lodi, OH) finished first in the shot put with a mark of 14.27 meters, freshman Tyler Youngquist (Midland, MI) won the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:17.23, and junior Patrick Fiduccia (Rochester, NY) finished first in the triple jump with a mark of 12.05 meters.
The 4x400 meter relay team of junior Chris Anderson (Centerville , VA), Trevor Isle, senior Doug Bernauer, and junior Chris Molnar (Cincinnati , OH) won their race with a time of 3:35.89.
Case travels to Ohio Northern University Saturday to take part in the 2005 All-Ohio Championships.
