The Spartans (7-7, 0-3 UAA), who have not played at home since Dec. 1, will host No. 24 Carnegie Mellon University Friday at 8:00 p.m. in Horsburgh Gymnasium and No. 1 University of Rochester on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.

Freshman guard Kevin Herring (Blacklick, OH) gave Case Western Reserve an early eight-point lead, 10-2, with a made three-pointer at 15:42. The Spartans held the lead until junior forward Tyler Nading hit a jumper with 1:47 left in the first half to give the Bears their first lead of the game, 28-27. Washington (12-2, 3-0 UAA) scored the next five points and took a 33-27 lead into the intermission.
