BW 95, CASE 82...
CLEVELAND, OH (November 29, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve University men's basketball team dropped to 5-2 on the year, as the Yellow Jackets from Baldwin-Wallace College registered a 95-82 victory over the Spartans in Berea.
The Spartans battled close in the first half, as Rob Skuski (Russell, OH) scored 12 points, shooting 6-for-6 from the field, to limit the Yellow Jacket lead to 47-35 at intermission. BW's Dennis Santiago and Kyle Brown combined for 25 points at the half, shooting 7-of-11 from beyond the arc.
But despite shooting 50 percent (15-of-30) from the field in the second half, the Spartans couldn't find a way to limit the damage, as the Yellow Jackets scored 26 points off 20 Spartan turnovers on the night to claim the victory.
Senior center Mason Conrad (Tarpon Springs, FL – pictured) recorded his third double-double of the season, as he had a team-best 18 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Kevin Herring (Blacklick, OH) scored a career-high 15 points for the Spartans.
The Spartans will host Denison University on Dec. 1 at 8:00 p.m.
