CLEVELAND, OH (April 18, 2008) - In the first round of the University Athletic Association Women's Tennis Championships at Washington University (Mo.), the Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team fell 9-0 to No. 4 Emory University.
The Spartans will the loser of the University of Chicago and Brandeis University tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m.
The Spartans couldn't find an answer for the nationally ranked Eagles, who have claimed the UAA title in women's tennis every year since 1988.
Junior No. 2 Marta Worwag (Granville, OH -- pictured) played well for the Spartans, but fell to Emory's Sabra Rodgers, 7-6, (7-0), 6-3.
