JOHN CARROLL 7, CASE 2...
CLEVELAND, OH (March 19, 2008) - Coming off a 13 day lay-off, the Case Western Reserve University women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to the Blue Streaks from John Carroll  University this evening at the Veale Center.
The team will take on Allegheny College on Mar. 25 in the Veale Center at 4:00 p.m.
Junior No. 2 Marta Worwag (Cleveland, OH – pictured) claimed Case Western Reserve's first victory of the evening, as she battled back from a 6-4 loss in the first set to take the next two (6-4, 10-5) to register a victory over John Carroll's Anna Navatsyk.
Sophomore No. 5 Jennifer Clever (Ashland, OH) won an exciting match tonight, as she claimed a three-set victory over John Carroll's Ashley Bauer (6-4, 4-6, 10-8) in the final match of the night.
