CLEVELAND, OH (April 5, 2008) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s track and field team traveled to the 17-team [NCAA Div. I, II, III] Oliver Nikoloff Invitational at the University of Cincinnati today in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Freshman Justine Jeroski (Murrysville, PA-pictured) placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 11:26.94 and junior Kristen Bowhers (Rochester, NY) finished eighth in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:49.08 to lead the Spartans in the running events.
In field events, junior Elizabeth Ehrke (Pewaukee, WI) recorded a NCAA provisional qualifying throw in the discus with a toss of 41.56 meters - good for eighth place. Freshman Kali Knolle (East Aurora, NY) also had a eighth place finish in the triple jump with a jump of 10.02 meters.
