WOOSTER INVITATIONAL...
CLEVELAND, OH (March 31, 2007) - The Case Western Reserve women's team won the Wooster invitational scoring 118.5 points. The Spartans had 23 more points than second place Thiel College. Junior Esther Erb (Richmond, VA-pictured) led the way winning both the 800-meter run (2:22.67), and the 1,500-meter run (4:49.25).
Sophomore Danielle Kendeigh (Oberlin, OH) also placed in multiple events for the Spartans taking third in the 400-meter run (1:00.69), and third in the long jump (15-05). The Spartans scored a lot of points in the throwing events with sophomore Elizabeth Ehrke (Pewaukee, WI) placing second in the discus (119-10), and freshman Allison Early (Lodi, OH) placing third in the shot put (10.98 meters).
The Spartans will be back in action Saturday April 7 at the Case Invitational.
