2006 ALL-OHIO CHAMPIONSHIPS...
DELAWARE, OH (April 15, 2006) - The Case Western Reserve University women’s track and field team finished in ninth place today at the All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University. Baldwin Wallace won the 21-team meet with 164 points on the day.
Case sophomore Esther Erb - pictured (Richmond, VA) had a busy afternoon as she took third in both the 1,500 meter and 5,000 meter runs. In the 1,500 meter run, Erb finished just under two seconds behind the race winner with a time of
4:50.39 while she covered the 5,000 meter race in a time of
18:10.40. Also claiming a third place for Case was freshman Elizabeth Erhke (Pewaukee, WI) with a toss of
126'-8" in the discus throw.
Next weekend the Spartans will host the UAA Championships at Case Field with the two-day meet beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
