KENYON 10, CASE 2...

CLEVELAND, OH (April 24, 2008) – After four scoreless innings, Kenyon College (14-13) exploded for 10 runs in the last two of game two of a doubleheader in Gambier, Ohio and defeated Case Western Reserve University 10-2.
The Spartans (12-28) travel to Calvin College Saturday for a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m.
Senior centerfielder Lauren Seeds (Pickerington, OH) and freshman Teddi Jacobson (Solon, OH-pictured) once again led the Spartan offense. Seeds went two-for-two and Jacobson went two-for-three with a run scored.
Junior pitcher Ruthe Sagartz (Albuquerque, NM) received the loss. Sagartz allowed six runs on eight hits in 5.1 innings of work, but struck out six.
