CLEVELAND, OH (April 13, 2007) – Westminster College senior Jennifer Pancake pitched a two-hit shutout in the first game of a doubleheader today in Pennsylvania. Westminster defeated Case Western Reserve University 2-0.
Westminster scored both of its runs in the second inning and finished the game with six hits. Senior infielder Carrie Casden (Worthington, OH-pictured) and junior pitcher Amanda Bell (Carroll, OH) each had a hit for Case.
Bell was the starter and took the loss, giving up two runs on four hits and two walks in three innings of work. She struck out two.
