OTTERBEIN 5, CASE 2...
CLEVELAND, OH (April 9, 2007)–Case Western Reserve University dropped the first game of the double header 5-2 to Otterbein College. Otterbein had an early two to zero lead after the first inning, and added two more runs in the fifth.
The Spartans answered with two runs in the bottom of the sixth on three hits. Junior Lauren Seeds (Pickerington, OH-pictured ) hit her third homerun of the year, and freshman Kati Svilar (Orange Village, OH) scored a run to bring the Spartans within two. Unfortunately, 4-2 was as close as the Spartans would get. Otterbein added another run in their half of the sixth for the 5-2 final.
