CASE 7, HIRAM 6...
CLEVELAND, OH (March 28, 2007) –The Spartans had an amazing comeback in the bottom of the seventh. Case was trailing 6 to 2 before they started batting in the seventh, and wound up winning 7-6.
Freshman Katie Svilar (Orange Village, OH) scored the winning run on a single by winning pitcher junior Amanda Bell (Carroll, OH). Bell helped her cause all day going 2-4 with 3 R.B.I.'s. Junior Lauren Seeds (Pickerington, OH), and senior Carrie Casden (Worthington, OH-Pictured) also had excellent offensive games. Seeds went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 R.B.I, while Casden was 2-3 with 1 R.B.I. and 1 run scored.
On the mound Bell went seven innings striking out 5 in her fourth win of the season.
