BLUFFTON 3, CASE 2...
CLEVELAND, OH (March 20, 2007) – Case Western Reserve University juniors Lauren Seeds (Pickerington, OH-pictured) and Amanda Bell (Carroll, OH) both went three-for-two with a RBI in the Spartans 3-2 loss at Bluffton University in game one of a double-header.
The two teams entered the seventh inning with a run apiece. Bell drove in senior Carrie Casden (Worthington, OH) in the top of the inning with a double, but Bluffton scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win the game.
Bell struck out six and walked just two batters, but received the loss. Case left 10 runners on base as it out hit Bluffton 8-4.
