CLEVELAND, OH (March 11, 2007) –The Spartans are 2-0 after defeating Wesleyan College 5-2. Junior Lauren Seeds (Pickerington, OH-pictured) and freshman Chelsea Poelking (Brecksville, OH) both went three for three. Seeds scored two runs, and Poelking drove in two runs, and scored a run.
Junior Amanda Bell (Carroll, OH) only gave up one earned run and struck out ten batters to earn her first victory of the season.
