SOFTBALL COACH
Jennie Amodio
Prior to the 2000 season, Jennie Amodio became just the second head softball coach in Case history. Amodio's impact was felt in 2001 as she guided the Spartans to a 31-10 record and the school's first-ever NCAA postseason appearance.
Prior to being named the head softball coach, Amodio was a familiar face in the Case Western Reserve Athletic Department. In fact, she spent the 1997 season as an assistant in the Spartan softball program. She also served three seasons (1997-2000) as an assistant with the Case women's basketball program and spent time assisting the women's volleyball team as well. Prior to Case, she also coached softball at Cleveland area high school's Magnificat High School and Hathaway Brown School.
Amodio received a softball scholarship to Ohio University and played four years of Division I college softball there. She received a bachelor's degree in sports industry from Ohio University in 1994. Amodio is a native of North Olmsted, Ohio, and a 1989 graduate of North Olmsted High School. |
