SMETONA STOCKING UP VICTORIES, BONDING WITH BROTHER…
The University Circle area certainly won't have a shortage of Smetona's in the coming years, because not only do senior Joe Smetona and his brother John play tennis here at Case Western Reserve University, but there are likely four more Smetona siblings on the way to campus, all of whom plan on playing tennis for the Spartans.

TENNIS' NGUYEN SERVES UP ACES ALL AROUND…
Some of Kenneth Nguyen's classmates at Clover Hill High School in Midlothian, Va. choose to play sports at the NCAA Division-I level. He chose Case Western Reserve University more on the fact he wanted to pursue a medical career rather then what level he would hit the little yellow ball at.

Men's Tennis
Spartans finish season with a win...
...The Case men's tennis team finished a successful season this past weekend at the 2008 UAA Championships. The team defeated Rochester 5-4 on the final day to finish the season with a 12-6 record.
...Senior Joe Smetona finished the season with a team-high 13 wins in singles competition, while senior Adam Erickson ended the season with a 12-4 record.
