CLEVELAND, OH (April 5, 2008) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s track and field team traveled to the 18-team [NCAA Div. I, II, III] Oliver Nikoloff Invitational at the University of Cincinnati today in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Junior Joshua Ward (Boise, ID-pictured) finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 10:06.50, senior Tyler Youngquist (Midland, MI) placed 11th in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 15:14.54 and junior Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH) placed 12th in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:02.81 to round out the Spartans’ top runs.
In field events, senior Andrew Pozzuto (Washington, PA) finished ninth in the javelin throw with a toss of 44.57 meters.
Case Western Reserve will be at Ohio Wesleyan University April 12 for the 2008 All-Ohio Championships.
