CLEVELAND, OH (March 22, 2008) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s track and field team was in Orlando, Fla. Thursday through Saturday for the Walt Disney World Track & Field Invitational.
Case Western Reserve freshman Ethan Kleinbaum (Rutherford, NJ) won the 10,000-meter run in a time of 32:43.52 and junior Dominic Smith (New Richmond, OH-pictured) won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 9:31.45 to lead the Spartans.
Smith (New Richmond, OH) and senior Tyler Youngquist (Midland, MI) finished third (4:03.49) and fourth (4:03.61), respectively, in the 1,500-meter run. In field events, junior Andrew Pozzutto (Washington, PA) placed third in the javelin with a throw of 49.09 meters.
Case Western Reserve will return south next weekend when it participates in the Emory University Classic March 28-29.
