ALLIANCE, OH (April 9, 2005) - The Case Western Reserve men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Mount Union Invitational this afternoon.
Case's Aaron Tainter (Portland, OR) won the 3,000 meter steeplechase for the second time in as many meets this year while Trevor Ilse (Orono, MI) turned in a third place finish in the men's 110 meter hurdles. In the field events, sophomore Alex Drollinger (Lodi, OH) was the top Spartan with his third place spot in the men's discus with a toss of 137'-11".
Case will compete again next Saturday, April 16 at the All-Ohio Championship Meet at Ohio Wesleyan University.
