The track at Case Western Reserve University's Case Field has a new name. As of April 26th it will be the “Coach Bill Sudeck Track” after the University's legendary coach, mentor and friend.

The Case Western Reserve University track and field team may be a little confused. Last week during the University's Spring Break would have been the time to head to Florida, but instead the outdoor Spartans, fresh off of their indoor season, will head south tomorrow.

Men's Outdoor Track
Spartans claim two UAA titles in Chicago...
...The men's track and field team claimed two individual titles at the 2008 UAA Track and Field Championships in Chicago this past weekend, as junior Dominic Smith and sophomore Obinna Nwanna won titles in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the high jump.
...Smith posted a time of 9:31.78 in the steeplechase, while Nwanna registered a NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 2.04 meters in the high jump. Smith also placed second in the 5,000-meter run in a time 14:57.35.
