CLEVELAND, OH (April 30, 2008) – The Case Western Reserve University baseball team fell in extra innings this afternoon, as the Fighting Muskies from Muskingum College claimed a 4-3 win over the Spartans. The two teams will play one more game this afternoon at Nobby's Ballpark.
Senior pitcher Kevin Haley (Kent, OH – pictured) pitched well in the final start of his collegiate career, going eight innings, giving up three earned runs and walking just one batter.
Freshman catcher Steve Bills (Greensburg, PA) went 1-for-4 with a double and one run scored in the loss.
