CLEVELAND, OH (April 26, 2008) – The Case Western Reserve University baseball team dropped its second game of today's doubleheader at Nobby's Ballpark, as the Bears from Washington University (Mo.) handed the Spartans a 12-1 loss behind the arm of Jeremy Rogoff.
Rogoff picked up the victory for the Bears, going six innings and striking out 14 batters, while freshman pitcher Kyle Silk (Hudson, OH) took the loss for Case Western Reserve.
Freshman catcher Chad Mullins (Fredericksburg, OH – pictured) reached base twice in game two, going 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk.
The Spartans play twice again at Nobby's Ballpark tomorrow, as they take on Chicago at 10:00 a.m. and Washington at 4:00 p.m.
