CLEVELAND, OH (April 23, 2008) – In their second meeting of the season with John Carroll University, the Case Western Reserve University baseball team fell 15-3 to the Blue Streaks at Schweikert Field in University Heights.
The Spartans will host conference rivals Washington University (Mo.) and the University of Chicago this weekend. On Apr. 26, the team will take on Chicago at 1:00 p.m. and Washington at 4:00 p.m. On Apr. 27, they will face Chicago at 10:00 a.m. and Washington at 4:00 p.m.
Sophomore outfielder Phil Keefe (Newtonville, MA – pictured) went 2-for-4 with one run scored this afternoon, while senior infielder Kevin Haley (Kent, OH) went 1-for-3 with one run scored.
