BRANDEIS 14, CASE 1...
SANFORD, FL (March 17, 2006) – Case sophomore Kevin Haley (Kent, OH) went 2-3 with a home run as he accounted for two of Case's three hits and their only run as the Spartans fell to Brandeis University 1-14 at the University Athletic Association Championships. Senior outfielder Chris Sisson (West Palm Beach, FL) - pictured added the other hit for the Spartans.
Freshman pitcher Josh Sellke (Parma, OH) took the loss for the Spartans. Freshman Jonathan Fagert went 4.2 innings in relief, giving up just two runs on five hits and a walk.
The loss drops Case to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the UAA. Brandeis improves to 4-2 and 3-2. Case finshes up play down south tomorrow against Rochester.
