CRESTVIEW HILLS , KY (March 21, 2005) – Thomas More College pitchers held Case Western Reserve University to just two hits this afternoon in game one of a double header. The Spartans lost on the road 11-2 in seven innings.
Case sophomore catcher Marshall Hampton (St. Petersburg, FL) and junior right fielder Mark Jungermann (Avon Lake, OH) both went one for two from the plate as the Spartans scored their only two runs in the fourth.
Case sophomore J.R. Doolos (Clayton, OH) picked up the loss, tossing four innings and giving up seven hits and seven runs.
