EMORY 22, CASE 1 ...
SANFORD, FL (March 14, 2005) – Case Western Reserve University moved to 0-4 in the UAA Championship Tournament by losing a 22-1 decision to Emory University.
Emory University used three different pitchers to limit Case to just four hits in the game. The lone Spartan run came when Tim Koenig (Euclid, OH) scored from third base on a wild pitch.
Case will close out the UAA Tournament tomorrow when they take on the University of Rochester and then Washington University.
