CLEVELAND, OH (April 25, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University women’s tennis team lost to Brandeis University (11-8, 1-1 UAA) ) in the consolation semifinals, 9-0, this morning at the 2009 University Athletic Association Championships in Wellesley, Mass.   The Spartans fall to 2-15 overall and 0-2 at the UAA tournament.

Senior No. 1 Marta Worwag (Highland Park, IL-pictured) was defeated 6-0 and 6-3 by the Judges’ Rachel Rosman and then Worwag and teammate, sophomore Cheyenne Chambers (Twinsburg, OH), lost 8-4 to Rosman and Mackenzie Gallegos at No. 1 doubles.
