WOMEN'S SOCCER COACH
Tiffany Crooks
Tiffany Crooks was named head coach of the Case Western Reserve University varsity women's soccer program on May 25, 2007.
Crooks, a native of Mansfield, Ohio (Lexington High School), is only the fifth women’s soccer coach in Case history. She spent the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons at Xavier and prior to that was an assistant coach at the College of Wooster for three years (2002-04).
Prior to the 2009 season, Crooks had compiled a 14-22-1 record in two seasons at Case.
In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Crooks has a USSF "C" License [2003] and is a Women's Coaches' Academy graduate [Atlanta-2008]. She was a staff coach for Liederkranz Mid-Ohio United Soccer Club in Mansfield, Ohio (1999-2003), Pennine United Soccer Club in Wooster, Ohio (2003-05) and has been on the staff with Cincinnati United Premier U-16 since 2005.
She was a four-year starting goalkeeper at Ashland University (NCAA Division II) in Ashland, Ohio. She was a first team Verizon Academic All-American in 2001. During her career, the Eagles compiled a 68-9-3 record, captured four conference titles and made four consecutive NCAA playoff appearances, including a berth in the 1998 Final Four. Crooks finished her career with a school-record 28 shutouts and a 0.64 goals against average.
Crooks graduated magna cum laude from Ashland in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is working towards a master of arts in education and community counseling from Xavier.
