CLEVELAND, OH (November 3, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team won its fourth consecutive and 22nd overall match of the season tonight at Horsburgh Gymnasium, 3-2 (25-23, 24-26, 25-27, 25-21, 15-8), over Notre Dame College. The Spartans will travel to the University of Chicago this weekend (Nov. 6-7) for the 2009 University Athletic Association Championship.

Sophomore middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH-pictured) had a season- and team-high 22 kills and added two aces and seven blocks. Senior libero Andrea Lamont (Huntington Beach, CA) led the Spartans in digs on Senior Night with 23 while fellow senior defensive specialist Andrea Wojtowicz added 19 and senior setter Ashley Gan (Kettering, OH) posted 25 assists and four blocks.
