Final Stats

CLEVELAND, OH (October 10, 2009) - Case Western Reserve University sophomore outside hitter Rachel Suchy (Venetia, PA) and middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH) had 18 and 17 kills, respectively, as the Spartans defeated The College of Wooster 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 27, 25, 25-23) on the road. Case Western Reserve defeated Ohio Wesleyan University 3-1 earlier in the day at Wooster.

The Spartans, who improved to 17-3 (2-1 UAA), will travel to New York City this weekend for the second of two University Athletic Association (UAA) Round Robins hosted by New York University.

Senior setter Ashley Gan (Kettering, OH-pictured) had a match-high 40 assists and added 16 digs while senior defensive specialist Andrea Lamont (Huntington Beach, CA) added a team-high 26 digs.
