Final Stats

CLEVELAND, OH (October 4, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University volleyball team lost its final match at the University Athletic Association’s (UAA) first Round Robin of the 2009 season today, 3-0 (22-25, 20-25, 23-25), to No. 5 Washington University at the University of Rochester.

The Spartans finished the tournament 2-1 and have a 14-3 overall record.  They host Oberlin College October 7 at 7:00 p.m.

Sophomore middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH) had a team-high 11 kills to lead Case Western Reserve.  McCutchan has recorded double figures in kills in 11 straight and 14 overall matches this season.  She currently leads the team with 213.
