MOUNT UNION COLLEGE TOURNAMENT...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 5, 2009) -
Sophomore middle hitter Tricia McCutchan (Hamilton, OH ~ pictured) led Case Western Reserve University to a 3-1 (25-14, 25-23, 23-25, 25-14) victory over Denison University in their final match at the Mount Union College Invitational.
McCutchan had a team-high 17 kills and added four blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Rachael Suchy (Venetia, PA), who was named to the All-Tournament Team, had 11 kills against the Big Red and sophomore middle hitter Ellie Lyman (Sawyer, MI) added six kills.
The Spartans finished 3-1 and in third place [out of eight teams].
