Case Drops DuAl Meet at B-W...

CLEVELAND, OH (November 14, 2009) - Case Western Reserve University fell to Baldwin-Wallace College, 34-13, in their first dual match of the season in Berea, OH.

The Spartans took four of the seven contested matches but the difference was three weight classes which Case was forced to forfeit.

All four of the Case victories came by decision. At 149 lbs, Kurtic Jensen (Marsfield, MA) defeated Eric Schubert, 14-6 and in the 157 lbs class Isaac Dukes (Ravenna, OH) prevailed over Korey Leonhard, 8-5. At 165 lbs, Kyle Weaver (Delaware, OH) defeated Joe Georgian, 2-0 while Clay Criss (Beloit, OH ~ pictured) handled Michael Hosta, 9-2, in the 184 lbs class.

Case is in action next on Tuesday when they host John Carroll University in the first home match of the year. The action kicks off at 7:00 p.m.

197 lbs: Tristan Stoll (B-W) pinned Peter Heggs (C), :27 seconds

285 lbs: Ryan Jones (B-W) pinned Cale Harter, 2:36
