spartans finish fifth at 2009 uaa championship

The Case Western Reserve University men’s tennis team took fifth place at the 2009 University Athletic Association Championship (UAA) hosted by the University of Rochester.  The Spartans defeated New York University in the fifth place match, 5-0, playing to decision indoors.

The Case Western Reserve University men’s tennis team won No. 2 through No. 6 singles and No. 2 and No.3 doubles on its way to a 7-2 win over the University of Rochester in the consolation bracket of the 2009 University Athletic Association Championship in Rochester, New York.
