Streak Snapped at Two As Case falls to JCU, 2-0
CLEVELAND, OH (September 16, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team fell to Cleveland-crosstown rival John Carroll University ,2-0, in Unversity Heights.
Case's two game winning streak was snapped and the Spartans are now 2-3-1 overall. The victory moves JCU to 4-1-1 overall.
JCU opened the scoring at the 6:01 mark with a boot from Dave Hickey. Andrew Fatigati's goal in the 55th minute gave the Blue Streaks their final margin.
Each team took 12 shots while Case held a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Spartans are in action next on Saturday, September 19th, when they are on the road to face Westminster College.
