SPARTAN MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY—2009
WOOSTER MEET...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 1, 2009) - The Case Western Reserve University men’s cross country team traveled a light and young squad south to Wooster, Ohio tonight for their opening meet at The College of Wooster. The Spartans will race a full squad this Saturday at the 9th Annual Bill Sudeck Classic [11:00 a.m.] at Squire Valleevue Farm in Hunting Valley, Ohio.
The Wooster meet, which included NCAA Division III teams from Baldwin Wallace College, Oberlin College, Hiram College and Heidelberg College, was not scored.
Freshman Chris Kelly (Twinsburg, OH) led the way in the men’s four-mile run for the Spartans with a eighth-place finish [out of 39] in a time of 22:24. Right behind Kelly was freshman Brandon Reidlinger (Marion, OH), who placed 12th in a time of 22:43.
