SPARTANS PLAY AT PROGRESSIVE FIELD - April 22 @ 12:00 p.m.

 

For the fifth consecutive season, the Case Western Reserve University baseball team will host one of its NCAA Division III opponents at Progressive Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians.  This year, The Spartans will host the College of Wooster on April 22 at 12:00 p.m.

New Spartan LogoAdmission to the game will be free for those who have a ticket.  Please click below to print out a ticket and present it at Gate D on game day.  Free shuttle buses will run between Case Western Reserve’s Thwing Center and Progressive Field every 15 minutes beginning at 11:00 a.m. (until after the game) on April 22.

IF YOU ARE SCORING AT HOME … In their first appearance at Jacobs Field [now Progressive] in 2004, Case lost a close game to host John Carroll University 5-4. In 2005, the Spartans played host to Oberlin College, but fell to the Yeomen 7-3.  Case defeated Hiram College 9-8 in 2006, but lost 16-8 to Denison University last year, making them 1-for-3 in the big house.
