Soccer's Green Named UAA Athlete Of the Week
CLEVELAND, OH (September 29, 2009) - Senior defender Will Green (Cypress,TX) was awarded University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for the week of September 21-27. 
Green earned Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer for a week where he led a strong Spartan defense that did not allow a goal in two games. The Spartans defense only allowed seven shots-on-goal in 1-0 wins vs. Oberlin College and at Heidelberg University. This is Green's first Athlete of the Week award.
Case Western Reserve are in action next tomorrow, September 30 when they host Ohio Wesleyan University at Case Field. First touch is at 7:30 p.m. The Spartans open UAA play Saturday, October 3, when they host Brandeis University at 11:00 a.m.
