gorski named new men's assistant basketball coach...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 4, 2009) - Jeff Gorski has been named a full-time assistant men’s basketball coach at Case Western Reserve University, Head Coach Sean McDonnell announced Tuesday.
“Jeff is a terrific addition to our basketball program,” said McDonnell. “He comes highly recommended from a number of well respected coaches. I look forward to working with him.”
Gorski spent the past two seasons as a full-time assistant coach at Union College in Schenectady, New York. He came to Union from Utica College [Pioneers], where he was an assistant from 2003-2006. Gorski played three sports for the Pioneers as an undergraduate [graduated in 2003], including four years for the men’s basketball team, three with the men’s soccer program and two seasons with the Utica golf program.
“This is a great opportunity to join Coach Sean at Case Western Reserve and to be a part of the University Athletic Association,” said Gorski. “I would like thank Coach Montana and the rest of the support staff at Union for all their help.”
Gorski replaces Todd McGuinness who accepted the head men’s basketball position at Hartwick College (Hawks) in Oneonta, New York this past July.
