CLEVELAND, OH (October 20, 2007) -The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team (6-9) lost a nail-biter this afternoon at Kenyon College (8-5-2), as the Spartans fell 1-0 to the Lords. 
The Spartans totaled 13 shots on the afternoon, but were unable to get a ball past Kenyon goalkeeper Rosie Davis, who saved seven shots in 90 minutes.
Kenyon totaled 17 shots on the afternoon, with Rachael Wilson scoring the lone goal of the game in the 77th minute.
Case Western Reserve goalkeeper Kirsten McClain (Rochester, NY - pictured) had a great game between the posts, tallying nine saves in 90 minutes of work. McClain has a team-best 36 saves on the season.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Yule (Green Oaks, IL) totaled four shots on the afternoon, while sophomore Jen Soo Hoo (Berkley Heights, NJ) and junior Caroline Garber (Cincinnati, OH) totaled three shots for the Spartans.
The team will play at the University of Chicago on Oct. 26 for their fifth University Athletic Association match of the season. The match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. (CST).
