CLEVELAND, OH (October 6, 2007) -
The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team dropped to 6-6 on the season this afternoon, as the Brandeis University Judges (7-3-1) knocked off the Spartans, 2-0, at Case Field. 
The Spartans held the Judges to only six shots on goal in the game, but one of the shots was a penalty kick by Brandeis' Lizzie Bremner that put the Spartans down 1-0.
The Judges would add another goal late in the game to go take the 2-0 advantage.
Junior goalkeeper Kirsten McClain (Rochester, NY – pictured) played all 90 minutes for the Spartans, saving four shots.
The Brandeis defense laid down the gavel on the Case Western Reserve offense, limiting the team to only three shots (two on goal) the entire match.
The Spartans' next game is on Oct. 12 against Emory University. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Case Field.
