CLEVELAND, OH (September 29, 2007) -
The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team fell to the No. 25 ranked Violets of New York University by a score of 4-0 in their first University Athletic Association contest of the season. 
The Spartans (6-4) totaled seven shots (three on-goal) in the match, but were unable to get one past NYU (9-0-1) goalkeeper Katie Barnes.
Junior goalkeeper Kirsten McClain (Rochester, NY – pictured) played just under 75 minutes in the match, totaling three saves.
The Spartans are at Walsh University on Oct. 3 for a 5:00 p.m. match.
