WOOSTER 3, CASE 1...
CLEVELAND, OH (September 22, 2007) -
The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team lost a close match to the College of Wooster this afternoon at Case Field by a score of 3-1. 
The Fighting Scots struck first when Liz Mott scored her fourth goal of the season to put give Wooster the 1-0 advantage.
The Spartans battled back when junior Caroline Garber (Cincinnati, OH - pictured) scored her third goal of the year to bring the match to a 1-1 tie.
However, two second half goals by Wooster 's Ashley Owen and Laura Ayer were enough to give the Scots the 3-1 victory.
The loss puts the Spartans at 5-3 on the season.
Next up for the team will be another non-conference match against Geneva College on Sept. 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Case Field.
