CLEVELAND, OH (September 8, 2007) -
The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team lost a close match to the Eagles of Juniata College over the weekend by a score of 1-0. The loss puts the Spartans at 1-2 on the season. 
Junior goalkeeper Nikki Frankenstein (Cincinnati, OH - pictured) had six saves on the afternoon, but Juniata 's Sarah Ruggiero was able to sneak one past her with 3:49 remaining in the first half to give her team the 1-0 lead.
The Case Western Reserve offense was held to only seven shots (three on goal) in the loss, while allowing the Juniata offense to take 14 shots (seven on goal) on the day.
The team will resume action at home on Sept. 11 against the Purple Raiders of Mount Union College. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
