CLEVELAND, OH (September 24, 2005) -Case Western Reserve University senior goalkeeper Lauren Gaeta (Parkton, MD) had three saves in a 0-1 loss to the College of Wooster at Case Field. The loss drops Case to 3-5-1 overall on the season while Wooster improves to 4-2-2.
In the opening half, the Spartans held the edge in shots 9-4. However, the Scots would slip one by Gaeta in the 33rd minute as freshman Stephanie Lloyd (Chagrin Falls, OH) scored the game's only goal. Leading the Spartan offense was Amber Taylor (Germantown, MD) with three shots. The Spartans host Denison University on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
