CLEVELAND, OH (October 31, 2004) -
The 17th-ranked Washington University women's soccer team defeated the Case women today 1-0 in the second overtime period. The loss moves Case to 3-10-2, 0-6 in the UAA.
The goal came in the last minute of overtime play with just 30 seconds remaining. Megan Morley knocked a loose ball past Lauren Gaeta (Parkton, MD) to give the Bears the victory over the Spartans.
Case will close out the season this Saturday, November 6 when they will travel to the University of Rochester for a UAA match.
